She further shared, “The Festival de Cannes is a celebration of cinematographic art – to showcase the new writing, new genres and new visual innovations of our time. Likewise, we are all present here today to celebrate the best of French cinematic offers without even leaving the country as the best of French movies are being brought to Malaysia, through the concerted efforts of the Alliance Francaise Kuala Lumpur and Penang, with the support of the Embassy of France to Malaysia.”
