The Simpsons Fires Composer
After 27 years and over 500 episodes of music, composer Alf Clausen has been relieved of his duties from The Simpsons. The news is shocking considering the longevity of the FOX series. Clausen, an award-winning composer, should take solace that it has been one heck of a run. The reason for the firing is reportedly due to The Simpsons taking on a new direction in terms of music for future seasons. However FOX will reportedly collaborate with Clausen on The Simpsons in some capacity in upcoming episodes, whatever that means.
