The new trailer for Disney’s Jungle Cruise sees Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt set sail for a river adventure. Although based off the iconic Disneyland theme park ride, the film seems a lot more action packed than the attraction itself.
But then again, so was Disney’s other ride adaptation franchise – Pirates of the Caribbean. And this probably why Jungle Cruise seems to share a lot of similarities with that film. In Disney’s Jungle Cruise, action star Johnson and Blunt set off on a romp through the Amazon looking for a mythical tree with healing properties.
Blunt portrays Dr. Lily Houghton who hires riverboat captain, Frank Wolff (Johnson) to help navigate the river to uncover clues leading to the tree. However, they are not the only people in search of the mythical plant as there are also Germans on the hunt as well. Check out the trailer below.

Jaume Collet-Serra helms Jungle Cruise, which also stars Jesse Plemons, Edgar Ramírez, Jack Whitehall, and Paul Giamatti. The film is scheduled to arrive at the tail end of July.
