The first trailer for WandaVision starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany has been released by Disney+. The series, which marks Marvel’s first foray unto the Disney streaming platform, will arrives sometime in late 2020.
Although this is good news, especially as fans are clamouring for more superhero content, the results are a bit mixed as WandaVision looks trippy AF. Fans eager to see what has transpired with the heroes will have to brace themselves as the series seems to be set in a fantasy world or more specifically a 60s sitcom. Check it out for yourself below.
Obviously fans will need to tune in to find out what exactly is going on in this alternate reality and also find answers to Vision’s apparent resurrection. Created by Jac Schaeffer, WandaVision sees Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany reprising their roles as the two iconic Marvel superheroes.
WandaVision marks the first series from Marvel Studios streaming exclusively on Disney+. The series is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision—two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.
Joining Olsen and Bettany are familiar faces from the MCU such as Kat Dennings (Darcy Lewis from Thor) and Randall Park (FBI Agent Jimmy Woo from Ant-Man and the Wasp). The series also stars Teyonah Parris as the older version of Monica Rambeau from Captain Marvel.
WandaVision arrives on Disney+ later this year.
