Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige recently revealed that demand is high for both comic book adaptations.
With both Marvel and DC set to unleash a number of superhero film projects in the next few years, fans are now left imagining which spandex hero will make his or her appearance next. However both camps are tight lipped on which superhero flicks will be green-lit in the coming future, but Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has shed a little light on the subject.
In a recent interview with IGN, Feige revealed that fan demand for both Captain Marvel and Black Panther may ultimately pave the way for these characters to have their own big screen project soon.
“”They’re both characters that we like, that development work has been done, it’s continuing to be done on, and certainly it’s the question I get asked more than anything else, more than Iron Man 4, more than Avengers 3,” said Feige.
Despite being less mainstream titles, both Black Panther and Captain Marvel could make for exciting as well as profitable films, provided the right talents are involved in bringing these titular characters to life. Guardians of the Galaxy was certainly proof of that as it has emerged as one of Marvel Studios most lucrative, successful and beloved films.
