The new Ambulance trailer introduces us to the upcoming Michael Bay produced heist film starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
Jake Gyllenhaal and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II take the leads in the new Ambulance trailer, which is produced by Michael Bay. The action thriller revolves around a daring heist in Los Angeles perpetrated by two brothers.
In this breakneck thriller, decorated veteran Will Sharp (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) is desperate for money to cover his wife’s medical bills. He goes to the one person he knows he shouldn’t—his adoptive brother Danny (Jake Gyllenhaal). A charismatic career criminal, Danny instead offers him a score: the biggest bank heist in Los Angeles history: $32 million.
With his wife’s survival on the line, Will can’t say no.
But when their getaway goes spectacularly wrong, the desperate brothers hijack an ambulance with a wounded cop clinging to life and ace EMT Cam Thompson (Eiza González) onboard. In a high-speed pursuit that never stops, Will and Danny must evade a massive, city-wide law enforcement response, keep their hostages alive, and somehow try not to kill each other, all while executing the most insane escape L.A. has ever seen.
The film is adapted from the 2005 Danish thriller Ambulancen. This new updated version switches the dynamics with an American feel along with Bay’s signature touches. Check out the Ambulance trailer below before it arrives in mid-February 2022.
