2019 is done and dusted, but 2020 will no doubt serve up a healthy dose of films to whet our appetites. Although some films are still currently in production, studios such as Disney, Warner Bros and Sony have already penned in their release dates for their major motion pictures for the next 12 months.
Granted there are many to choose from, but these are undoubtedly are the films that fall into the ‘must-watch’ category of 2020.

January:
Bad Boys For Life
Will Smith and Martin Lawrence reunite on screen for this third instalment of
the Bad Boys franchise.

February:
Birds of Prey
Margot Robbie reprises her role as Harley Quinn in
this new all-female superhero film, which will see the villainess team-up with
Huntress, Black Canary and other characters in a fight against the Black Mask (Ewan
McGregor).

March:
Mulan
Disney’s live-action take on the beloved animated
classic will undoubtedly be a sure-fire hit. Liu Yifei portrays the titular
character, with Donnie Yen, Jet Li, Gong Li and Jason Scott Lee in supporting roles.

April:
No Time To Die
Daniel Craig returns for his final run as James Bond in the 25th instalment
of the spy franchise. This time taking on a mysterious villain played by Rami
Malek.

May:
Fast & Furious 9
The ninth instalment of the Fast &
Furious franchise sees Vin Diesel back in the driving seat of this
high-octane action vehicle.

June:
Wonder Woman 1984
Gal Gadot returns as the Amazonian warrior princess in this highly-anticipated
follow-up to Wonder Woman.

July:
Ghostbusters: Afterlife
Jason Reitman directs this long-awaited follow up to the original Ghostbusters franchise. The new adventure
takes place decades after the original classic.

August:
Bill & Ted Face The Music
Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter reprise their roles as Bill & Ted in the new
film Samara Weaving, and Brigette Lundy-Paine portraying their daughters.

September:
The Many Saints of Newark
The Sopranos prequel tells of a tale long before Tony Soprano and gang.

October:
G.I. Joe: Snake Eyes
This big screen reboot sees Henry Golding portraying the iconic G.I. Joe
warrior.

November: Godzilla vs Kong
Two giants of the big screen take on each other in this Kaiju smackdown. Who will win when Godzilla takes on King Kong?

December: Dune
Denis Villeneuve’s Dune remake boasts an all-star cast with Timothée Chalamet, Josh Brolin, Javier Bardem, Oscar Isaac, Rebecca Ferguson, Dave Bautista, Stellan Skarsgard, Charlotte Rampling, David Dastmalchian and Zendaya.
