It’s been ten years since Zombieland, and we only need to wait a few more weeks now to see the long-awaited sequel. The new red-band trailer for Zombieland: Double Tap, sees our familiar heroes back in the fold, doing what they do best and that is hunting down zombies.
Interestingly, not only is the original band back together again, but there’s also an appearance by Bill Murray, who fans may remember, got offed in a brutal way in the first film.
A decade after Zombieland became a hit film and a cult classic, the lead cast (Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Abigail Breslin, and Emma Stone) have reunited with director Ruben Fleischer (Venom) and the original writers Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick (Deadpool) for Zombieland: Double Tap.
In the sequel, through comic mayhem that stretches from the White House and through the heartland, the four slayers must face off against the many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. But most of all, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family.
Joining the cast for Zombieland: Double Tap are Rosario Dawson, Zoey Deutch and Luke Wilson. The film hits Malaysian cinemas on 31 October 2019.
