Although most comic book fans have been fixated on whether or not Jesse Eisenberg will be going bald as Lex Luthor for Batman v Superman, James McAvoy has commented that he may well be finally losing his locks in the X-Men sequel.
“I’ll be older in this one. And I think I’m losing my hair finally. And, yeah, that’s kind of all I know,” said McAvoy in a recent interview. X-Men: Apocalypse will continue the storyline that was set at the end credits of X-Men: Days of Future Past.
The film will see mainstay X-Men villain Apocalypse as the main protagonist in the film, which will reportedly be based in the 80s. Bryan Singer is returning to direct with franchise stars McAvoy and Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence set to reprise their roles as Professor X, Magneto and Mystique respectively.
X-Men: Apocalypse is slated for a May 2016 release.
