HBO bet big on the Super Bowl to reveal its new Westworld Season 2 trailer and it has certainly paid off. That big game spot that premiered during Super Bowl LII marked HBO’s first Super Bowl ad in two decades. The ad was directed by series co-creator Jonathan Nolan.

The Emmy-winning drama series Westworld returns for its ten-episode second season same time as the U.S. on Monday, April 23 at 9am exclusively on HBO (Astro Ch 411/ HD 431) with same day primetime encore at 10pm on HBO, and catch it on HBO On Demand (via Astro GO).

The Westworld Season 2 trailer reveals what fans can expect from the critically-acclaimed sci-fi series following the first season’s finale. The fallout from the uprising of robots is likely to continue in a big way as they become self-aware, which likely spell certain will doom for some series regulars.

Debuting on HBO in 2016 to become HBO’s most-watched freshman series ever, Westworld is a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the evolution of sin. The season one cast included Anthony Hopkins, Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright, James Marsden and Tessa Thompson.

Joining the season two cast are series regulars Katja Herbers, Gustaf Skarsgård and Fares Fares.
