The Spider-Man sequel has an official title and its good to see that Marvel and Sony is keeping to its ‘home’ motif. The upcoming superhero adventure will be titled Spider-Man: No Way Home and will continue the events seen in Spider-Man: Far From Home. The ending of the film sees Peter Parker exposed as Spider-Man and framed for killing Mysterio. Tom Holland is returning as the wall-crawler along with Zendaya as MJ. The film directed by Sam Raimi will also feature Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange.

Guy Ritchie Zeroes In On World War II Movie

Director Guy Ritchie has another project on his plate and this time it’s a war movie. The British director will reportedly helm Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare for Paramount Pictures. The film is based on the book by Damien Lewis and takes place in 1939. The story centres around Winston Churchill who creates Britain’s first black ops unit to fight against the Germans. Ritchie is currently wrapping up his latest film, titled Five Eyes with Jason Statham in the starring role.

Twisted Metal TV Series Moves Ahead

Sony is putting together a series based on the Twisted Metal video game. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick the duo behind Deadpool and Zombieland to spearhead the adaptation. Twisted Metal is a highly popular video game franchise, which was made for the PlayStation platform. An early draft for the series is reportedly based around a motor-mouthed protagonist who is tasked in delivering a mysterious package in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Along the way he encounters marauders driving vehicles of destruction.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania To Film This Summer

The Marvel sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is due to begin filming this year. The news was broken by Evangeline Lilly on social media. The sequel will see the actress suit up again as Hope van Dyne AKA The Wasp. Also returning is Paul Rudd who will play Scott Lang AKA Ant-Man once more. There aren’t many details surrounding the film except that director, Peyton Reed will return to helm the film. The third Ant-Man film also has a new antagonist, which is Kang the Conqueror portrayed by Lovecraft Country star Jonathan Majors. The film is due sometime in 2022.

Loki Disney+ Series Gets A Release Date

Marvel has revealed the release date for the Loki series, which will air exclusively on the Disney+ platform. The series will premiere on 11th June 2021, which means it will air following the culmination of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series. Disney+ has teed up its Marvel series perfectly with Wandavision inching towards its finale, before The Falcon and the Winter Soldier starts on 19th March. The Loki series is of particular interest as it continues after the events of Avengers: Endgame where the God of Mischief made off with the Space Stone.
