Although fans may not see another Judge Dredd on the big screen, we may not have seen the last of the iconic comic book character. According to recent reports, a new live-action television series is currently in the works by Rebellion and IM Global. The series, Judge Dredd: Mega-City One is a future-set story following a team of cops who act as judge, jury, and executioner when dealing with the challenges of a futuristic crime-ridden megalopolis. No production details or actors have been announced as yet with regards to this new live-action series.

Edge Of Tomorrow Sequel
edge_tomorrowTom Cruise’s sci-fi actioner, Edge of Tomorrow will have a sequel and it will be titled Live Die Repeat and Repeat according to director Doug Liman. The original film saw Cruise star as a soldier who gets infected with alien blood, which allows him the ability to relive his life from a certain point in time. Emily Blunt, Cruise’s co-star in the film is also signed on to reprise her role in the sequel. Although Edge of Tomorrow 2 has a working title, production will still take a while owing to Cruise’s and Blunt’s packed schedule. Both actors are currently busy with Mission: Impossible 6 and Mary Poppins Returns respectively.

Hellboy Reboot In The Works
hellboy_2_golden_armyAlthough a third Hellboy movie by Guillermo del Toro will never see the light of day, the iconic hero will nevertheless make his return to the big screen. Hellboy creator, Mike Mingola has announced that an R-Rated reboot is being planned with Stranger Things star, David Harbour tapped to take over the role of demon. The film will reportedly be directed by Game of Thrones director, Neil Marshall. No official word has been announced yet regarding the production date of the film.

Avatar Sequels Finds Its Lead
clive_curtisAlthough the Avatar sequels have been plagues by delays, James Cameron has taken some huge steps in recent weeks. The big news is that Cameron has cast the lead role in both the Avatar sequels and its none other than Fear The Walking Dead star, Cliff Curtis. According to reports, the actor will be playing Tonowari, the leader of the Metkayina reef people clan. Cameron is set to make four films to round up the franchise, with the first film due to arrive in cinemas in December 2020. Original stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, and Sigourney Weaver are all confirmed to be returning for the Avatar sequels as well.

Unikitty Animated Series
unikittuBreakout character of The LEGO Movie, Unikitty is getting her own animated series on Cartoon Network. According to the official synopsis, Unikitty leads a busy life as a ruler of her kingdom but she is most interested in making sure everyone is happy and ridding the kingdom of negativity. While she may be full of boundless energy and creativity, Unikitty is a force to be reckoned with if anyone gets in the way of spreading her positive vibes, especially if anyone makes her little brother and best friend, Puppycorn, sad. Also living in the castle are Dr. Fox, the resident scientist, and Unikitty’s trusty bodyguard, Hawkodile.
