Chris Pratt has provided an update on his latest film, which is The Tomorrow War. Originally titled, Ghost Draft, the film tells the story of a man who gets drafted into a war against aliens, which takes place in the future. Pratt not only stars in the film but is also serving as its executive producer. The actor posted a set photo on Instagram with the cast of the film, which also stars Betty Gilpin, J.K. Simmons, and Yvonne Strahovski. The Tomorrow War is being directed by Chris McKay.

Carnival Row Season 2 Begins Production
The Amazon fantasy series Carnival Row is getting a season 2 and production has already begun on the series. The series will once again take place in the steampunk Victorian-inspired city known as The Burgue, where magical creatures and humans forge an uneasy coexistence. Orlando Bloom is returning to play Detective Rycroft “Philo” Philostrate with Cara Delevingne reprising the role of faerie Vignette Stonemoss. An official Tweet was sent out to announce the start of production of the Amazon series.

Titans Renewed for Season 3
Fans of the DC Universe superhero series, Titans will be glad to know that a third season will be on the way. The gritty superhero series featuring Robin, Raven, Starfire, Beast Boy, Hawk and Dove, Wonder Girl, and Jason Todd will return for another round of action next year. Titans made its debut in 2018, as an anchor series for the DC Universe streaming service and immediately impressed viewers and fans. The second season of the series has just ended but work is already being done for season three of the series, which will see Brenton Thwaites again leading the cast as Dick Grayson.

First Look: What If…?
One of the most exciting projects coming from Disney+ is the animated series, What If…?, which basically turns the Marvel Universe on its head. The series based on the comic book series, reimagines what would happen to some of Marvel’s core characters if certain scenarios turned out differently. Case in point the first of three episodes which basically asks the questions of ‘What if Peggy Carter took the Super Soldier serum?’, ‘What if Captain America became a zombie and Bucky Barnes had to fight him?’ and ‘What if T’Challa became Star-Lord?’ The animated shorts will feature The Watcher, who is voiced by Jeffrey Wright.

Beverly Hills Cop 4
The Eddie Murphy renaissance continues with news of a new instalment to the Beverly Hills Cop franchise. According to a recent report in Variety, the fourth film in the action series will now be produced by Netflix. There is no official word on when the film will begin production but Murphy has been busy the last several months with films such as Dolemite Is My Name on Netflix and production work on Coming to America 2. Beverly Hills Cop was a highly-successful action comedy when it was released in the 80s. The movie centred on a Detroit police detective who journeys to Beverly Hills to investigate a murder of a close friend.
