Pixar is looking at Elves for its next big animated adventure. Onward, directed by Dan Scanlon tells the story of two Elvish brothers named Barley and Ian (voiced by Chris Pratt and Tom Holland). The story revolves around the brothers going on an adventure to discover if there’s any magic left in the world. Onward is currently in production and also features the voices of Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Octavia Spencer. The animated feature arrives in cinemas in March 2020.

John Wick: Chapter 3 Is The Top Franchise Earner
It looks like audiences can’t get enough of the Baba Yaga. John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum has become the top earner in the franchise with a worldwide take of USD182 million. Remarkably, it managed to overtake John Wick: Chapter 2’s yield of USD171.5 million just ten days into its release. With the action franchise more popular than ever, it is not surprising to see Lionsgate greenlight another sequel. John Wick Chapter 4 is now being planned with a release date set for May 2021.

Netflix has released several images from the upcoming season of Jessica Jones, which will mark the end of the Marvel Netflix Universe. Jessica Jones Season 3 will premiere on 14th June and will feature Jessica (Krysten Ritter) crossing paths with a highly intelligent psychopath forcing her and Trish (Rachael Taylor) to repair their fractured relationship and team up in order to take him down.  But a devastating loss reveals their conflicting ideas of heroism and sets them on a collision course that will forever change them both.

Kingsman 3 Details Revealed
In a recent interview, Matthew Vaughn has revealed some juicy information about the next instalment to the Kingsman franchise. According to the director, Kingsman 3 will mark the final chapter in the Eggsy and Harry saga. Both Taron Egerton and Colin Firth will reprise their roles for the third film, which will begin production sometime next year. Vaughn however will first focus on the Kingsman prequel, which is a period piece telling the story about how the organisation was founded. That film is due out early next year.

Joel Kinnaman Is Back As Rick Flag
It looks like James Gunn is bringing some of the original cast members back for The Suicide Squad. Joel Kinnaman who previously played Rick Flag in the film reprise the character in the upcoming film, which is now more like a sequel/soft reboot.Kinnaman made the announcement via Instagram. Gunn’s take on The Suicide Squad will be interesting to see especially with Viola Davis, Jai Courtney and Margot Robbie returning as Amanda Waller, Captain Boomerang and Harley Quinn. The film will be headline by Idris Elba and is set to arrive in cinemas in early August 2021.
