Fans of musicals will want to keep December 2019 free as Cats will be hitting cinema screens across the globe. Andrew Lloyd Webber’s stage musical will be brought to life for the big screen under the direction of Oscar-winning director, Tom Hooper. The adaptation will not be short on star power with Dame Judi Dench, Idris Elba, Jennifer Hudson, Sir Ian McKellen, Taylor Swift and Rebel Wilson attached to the production.

Sonic The Hedgehog Gets A Poster
sonic-the-hedgehog-movie-posterThe video game adaptation of Sonic the Hedgehog is arriving in cinemas in November 2019 but before we get a trailer, Paramount Pictures has release the first official poster. The film will be produced by Tim Miller and directed by first time director, Jeff Fowler and will star Ben Schwartz as the titular character. Jim Carrey will star as the villainous Dr. Robotnik with James Marsden starring as Tom Wachowski, who forms a bond with Sonic.

Spider-Man’s New Suit
spider_camoIt looks like our friendly neighbourhood wall crawler will be getting a new suit for Spider-Man: Far From Home. Tom Holland’s Peter Parker will evidently don what appears to be a stealth suit, which is likely equipped by S.H.I.E.L.D. The movie, which will arrive in cinemas in Summer 2019 will also star Samuel L Jackson and feature Jack Gyllenhaal as the villain Mysterio. The film will reportedly be set in Europe, which hints at some international missions for the web slinging superhero.

Stranger Things Season 3 Teaser

Netflix has released the first teaser for Stranger Things Season 3 and although it doesn’t show much, it does however reveal the episode titles of the upcoming season. For the trip back to Hawkins, Stranger Things Season 3 will have eight episodes titled, Suzie, Do You Copy? , The Mall Rats, The Case of the Missing Lifeguard, The Sauna Test, The Source, The Birthday, The Bite and The Battle of Starcourt. Stranger Things Season 3 will star Millie Bobbie Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matazarro, Caleb McLaughlin, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, and Joe Keery and will premiere on Netflix in summer 2019.

Doctor Strange Sequel
doctor_strangeMarvel is developing a sequel to Doctor Strange and they’re bringing Scott Derrickson back to helm the film. The follow-up film for the master of the mystical arts will begin sometime in 2020 with a reported release date set for 2021. Benedict Cumberbatch is expected to return to reprise his role as the titular character with Benedict Wong also returning as Wong. Still despite this news, it remains to be seen what fate awaits Doctor Strange following Avengers: End Game as the good doctor did fade away in Infinity War.
