Take a world class orchestra, package it with some stunning National Geographic footage and you have Symphony For Our World. The stunning video which you can see above is just a little taster of this National Geographic special made specifically for Earth Day 2018.

The official synopsis reads: This Earth Day, 2018, National Geographic embarks on a journey of artistry and science through a global, musical exploration of the sea, shore, land, mountains and sky with a five part composition as varied, dynamic and stunning as Earth itself.

The beauty of this nature special is that it comes with no narration but an amazing music score provided by Hans Zimmer‘s Bleeding Fingers Music featuring X Ambassadors. Symphony For Our National Geographic is even taking this show on the road.

The Symphony For Our World tour will take place across the US and Canada for now with performances at various concert halls. No international dates outside North America has been planned as yet, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed that it makes its way over to our neck of the woods with a performance at the Dewan Filharmonik Petronas.
