Sony Pictures is surely milking its Spider-Man property for all its worth with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Ditching the live-action genre, the studio is going back to the character’s animated roots with an all-new adventure.
Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the creative minds behind The Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street, bring their unique talents to a fresh vision of a different Spider-Man Universe, with a ground-breaking visual style that’s the first of its kind.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales (Shameik Moore), and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask. Jake Johnson is voicing Peter Parker, who takes the new spider-ling under his wing.
Also featuring in the film are Liev Schreiber who plays the Kingpin, Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy, Luna Lauren-Valez as Rio Morales, and Lily Tomlin is Aunt May.
