Four new character posters have provided a closer look at the all-new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. And they’re pretty neat.
It’s been two decades since we last saw live-action Ninja Turtles on the silver screen but all that will change when Michael Bay’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles opens in cinemas.
A reboot to the franchise, the new film will see the four beloved heroes take on Shredder (William Fichtner) and his evil Foot Clan who have set off a crime wave in New York City. Helping the turtles on their quest is reporter April O’Neil (Megan Fox) and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett).
The four character posters reveal a closer look at the turtles, which are computer generated as oppose to men in suits. Thankfully though, it seems as if Bay has retained some of the characteristics of the 90s turtles in this reboot version, which should appease fans.
Based on characters Created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, and directed by Jonathan Liebesman (Wrath of the Titans), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will open in cinemas this August.
