Captain America: Civil War is shaping up to be a star-studded even with a number of huge stars already joining the production. Chris Evans is back as the star spangled avenger who will lock horns with Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man and the film will also see the appearance of other franchise stars like Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and the Falcon (Anthony Mackie).
In addition, Captain America 3 will reportedly see the appearance of The Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Baron Zemo (Daniel Brühl) and Crossbones (Frank Grillo). But the boys at Marvel haven’t stopped there; they’ve also added new additions to the sequel.
It’s being reported that Martin Freeman has joined Captain America: Civil War, rumoured to be playing a character called Everett Ross. Although Freeman’s role still remains a secret, one character who is set to make her return will be a familiar face.
Emily Van Camp, who starred as Agent 13 in The Winter Soldier, will make her return, reprising her role as the S.H.I.E.L.D agent who was assigned to watch over Steve Rogers. The extended cast of Civil War will also reportedly include Scarlett Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and the new Spider-Man.
Captain America: Civil War is scheduled for a summer 2016 release.
