Warner TV is satisfying the needs of Superman fans in Asia with the premiere of Krypton, which airs the same day as the US on 22nd March 2018. The new series takes on a different approach to the legend of the Man of Steel, focusing on his grandfather, long before their home planet gets destroyed.
What if Superman never existed? That’s the question that Krypton asks as the series is set two generations before the destruction of Superman’s home planet. The series follows Seg-El (Cameron Cuffe), the legendary Man of Steel’s grandfather, who is faced with a life and death conflict – save his home planet or let it be destroyed in order to restore the fate of his future grandson.
With Krypton’s leadership in disarray and the House of El ostracized, Seg must balance the quest to redeem his family’s honour and protect the ones he loves while being challenged by familiar DC characters Brainiac (Blake Ritson) and Earthly time-traveller Adam Strange (Shaun Sipos).
Krypton premieres on Thursday, 22nd March 2018, same day as the US at 9pm. Catch the series exclusively on Warner TV (HyppTV Ch 613 & Astro Ch 719)
