The Jurassic World sequel will not be officially titled as Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The official title does hint at the continuation of the storyline set after the events of the first film whereby the chaos caused by the Indominus Rex resulted in the dino theme park closing for good.
However, the title also could suggest a number of different ways director J.A. Bayona may take the upcoming sequel. There is also a possibility that Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom could lead to a bigger scale storyline revolving around dinosaurs.
The new title also comes with a new tagline – ‘Life Finds A Way’ – which is a quote said by Dr Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum). The actor will be reprising his role in the upcoming sequel, which will link back the original film as well as its sequel, The Lost World.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is set to open in cinemas in summer 2018 and will star Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Toby Jones, James Cromwell, BD Wong, and Rafe Spall.
