Director Wes Anderson is back with an all-new stop motion animated adventure titled Isle of Dogs. Fans who are familiar with the director’s work, specifically The Fantastic Mr Fox, will surely love this new endearing animated tale told with Anderson’s own indomitable style.
Isle of Dogs will be released in local cinemas and various parts of Southeast Asia sometime at the end of April. The film is set in the fictional city of Megasaki City where an executive decree has forced all canine pets to be exiled to a vast garbage-dump called Trash Island.
The story focuses on 12-year-old Atari who sets off alone in a miniature Junior-Turbo Prop and flies across the river in search of his bodyguard-dog, Spots. There, with the assistance of a pack of newly-found mongrel friends, he begins an epic journey that will decide the fate and future of the entire Prefecture.
