Paul Feig took to Twitter to reveal the new Ghostbusters uniform from the rebooted film starring Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon. The film, which is currently filming in Boston is a total reboot of the 80s hit original film, which starred Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd.
The first released synopsis reveals that the characters portrayed by both Wiig and McCarthy are in fact unsuccessful book authors who claim that ghosts are real. They reunite after a while to become Ghostbusters alongside the characters portrayed by McKinnon and Jones.
Besides that little nugget of information, there’s little else to go on with the rebooted project, which also stars Chris Hemsworth who takes a turn playing a receptionist. Thus far, fans are divided on this project, many of whom think the original films directed by Ivan Reitman should not be rebooted in any way or form.
Others however are stoked to see the Ghostbusters again in female form nonetheless, which should deliver some pretty good laughs.
