Kong: Skull Island is set to be one of next summer’s biggest films and it will also play a huge role in defining the monster genre for Warner Bros. The film, which is the latest from a long line of reboots, focuses on a diverse team of explorers is brought together to venture deep into an uncharted island in the Pacific. As beautiful as it is treacherous – the humans are grossly unaware that they’re crossing into the domain of the mythic Kong.
The newest image of Kong reveals the great ape and he looks angry and pissed. The film has been gaining huge interest following reports that Warner intends to merge both the King Kong and Godzilla universes into one down the line.
Kong: Skull Island is directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts and stars Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, John Goodman and Samuel L Jackson. The film arrives in cinemas in March 2017.
