Forbes has once again revealed its annual list of the ten highest paid actors of the year with Dwayne Johnson once again in the top spot. The former pro-wrestler turned action star roped in USD87.5 million to maintain his position at number one with Ryan Reynolds scoring USD71.5 million to take second.
Both actors coincidentally working together on a new film for Netflix called Red Notice, which is currently in the midst of resuming production. The streaming giant is also partially responsible for several actors on the list such as Mark Wahlberg (USD58 million) and Adam Sandler (USD41 million) who took third and fourth respectively.
Both actors also have a great relationship with Netflix with Wahlberg headlining Spenser Confidential with Sandler enjoying success with the comedy, Murder Mystery. Also on the list are Ben Affleck, Vin Diesel, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Will Smith.
As far as the top two goes, both Johnson and Reynolds have also enjoyed success away from the camera with several businesses as well as endorsement deals. Both men have their own liquor companies at the moment with Johnson also expanding his brand with Under Armour and the XFL, which he recently purchased. Reynolds also owns the Mint Mobile prepaid carrier in North America.
