Principal photography has begun on the upcoming Warner Bros. standalone superhero film, Wonder Woman. The film directed by Patty Jenkins will see Gal Gadot star as Diana Prince/ Wonder Woman. Fans have already seen the first sneak peek of the character from the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice which is due out next year.

But there’s also a number of recent reveals coming from the set of the DC adventure, one of which offers another up close look at the iconic DC superheroine. Wonder Woman’s standalone feature is widely expected to tie-in to a larger DC Universe, which will feature the Justice League of superheroes.

Wonder Woman is pencilled in for a release in 2017 and boasts a well-put together cast made up of Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis and Saïd Taghmaoui. Pine is said to be starring as Steve Trevor in the film, which is the romantic interest of the superheroine in the comic books. Principal photography is currently underway in UK, France and Italy.
