The standalone Black Widow film is heading our way in May and the final trailer for the film drops major hints on the route it will take. Naturally, the film is a prequel, taking place before the events of Avengers: Endgame, but the exact timeline will only be revealed once the film begins rolling in cinemas.
The first Marvel film of the year and the film to kick off Phase Four of the MCU will see Scarlett Johansson reprising her role as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow but she will be supported by Florence Hugh, who is coming off a great year with roles in Fighting with my Family and Little Women. The actress will be playing Yelena, Natasha’s sister with Rachel Weisz playing her mother, Melina and David Harbour taking on the mantle of Alexei, the head of the family and also The Red Guardian.
Directed by Cate Shortland, Black Widow hits Malaysian cinemas beginning 30 April 2020.
