The final Aquaman trailer has landed and it shows us one last look at the upcoming superhero adventure by director James Wan. The upcoming standalone superhero adventure is being promoted as “an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breath-taking underwater world of the seven seas,” by Warner Bros.
Although that remains to be seen, Aquaman however does seem to be more colourful and lighter in tone that what the DCEU films have dished out thus far. Aquaman stars Jason Momoa in the title role, which reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry.
The story tells of the hero’s journey of a lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be…a king.
Joining Momoa in this adventure are Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as well as Ludi Lin and Nicole Kidman. Aquaman swims into cinemas on 21st December 2018.
